HTC U Play comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display and has a Gorilla Glass protection. The Helio P10 SoC is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card option for extra storage capacity . The HTC’s own digital assistant, Sense Companion will be also available in device .
The device has a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, OIS, PDAF, and dual tone LED flash. However, it can’t record videos in 4K resolution . Only limited to Full HD video recording. The front camera is also equipped with a 16MP sensor with fixed focus and has the same f/2.0 aperture. It is packed by a 2,500mAh battery that supports fast charging with the 5V /2A power adapter. HTC claims the U Play give you to 15 hours of talk time and lasts upto 427 hours on standby mode.
The physical home button on the front comes embedded with the fingerprint sensor. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE for making HD voice calls. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB 2.0 Type-C port.
